ScotDance Manitoba was formed in October 1988 as the Provincial Affiliate of ScotDance Canada.

ScotDance Manitoba encompasses the Manitoba Professional Teachers, four of which are international adjudicators of the World Wide Panel of Judges for the SOBHD.

All teachers are certified by a professional branch of the SOBHD and are members of the national professional teaching organization, ScotDance Canada and, in turn, the provincial teaching organization, ScotDance Manitoba.

ScotDance Manitoba facilitates communication with ScotDance Canada and Provincial Members; promotes professional and amateur development and responds to professional issues.
