Zoë Wreggitt is the director of Kids in Kilts School of Highland Dance which opened in 2009 in the heart of Old St. Vital at Glenwood Community Center. Kids in Kilts offers classes for dancers aged three and up, focusing on both the competitive and artistic aspects of highland dance. Students have opportunities to dance in competitions, take medal tests, perform in the Kids in Kilts’ winter and year-end celebration recitals, participate in the Manitoba Dance Festival, and more.

Zoë began highland dancing at the age of 5, enjoying instruction primarily from Linda Aronson. Some highlights of Zoë's dance career include being a past recipient of the Junior National Scholarship (Manitoba Dance Festival) as well as the grand prize winner of Kids Quest (Red River Ex). Zoë is also a member of the entertainment group “Highland Heart and Soul” which has performed at numerous events in Manitoba including the West End Cultural Centre, the Brandon Winter Festival, Relay for Life, The Irish Club, and more.

Beyond her love of highland dance, Zoë is also an accomplished dancer in the styles of Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, and Lyrical. She trained with the Senior Professional Program at Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers, and Promenade Dance Academy where she also teaches a variety of different dance classes. When not teaching dance, Zoë can be found at the University of Manitoba pursuing her degree in Environmental Science.
